It provides a soft entry point and connection to the service system for families who may be experiencing vulnerability or who require some level of support before issues escalate. It is an early intervention and prevention case coordination service aimed at helping families to identify their strengths and resources, and addressing underlying issues and risk. Barnardos Australia is the provider for FCS in the following districts: Western Sydney, Nepean Blue Mountains, Sydney, South Eastern Sydney and Northern Sydney.
